The Melburnian underwent a complete transformation under the direction of Edition Office. Originally, the apartment was an impersonal, poorly designed space that did not do justice to its stunning location overlooking Melbourne’s arts district and the Royal Botanic Gardens. By removing walls and replacing them with elegant, curved oak partitions, an open and fluid interior was created. These wooden dividers provide subtle transitions between spaces without the need for doors, while cleverly concealing practical functions like the kitchen and home office.
