Centuries ago, the Japanese used the Shou Sugi Ban technique, where wood was burned to make their homes more durable and fire-resistant. Today, the aesthetic of charred wood has become popular among retail designers and interior architects. However, charred wood is difficult to work with, crumbles easily, is often warped, emits odors, and requires a lot of time to process.

Our 3D Carbon veneer panels offer a solution that captures this unique look without the drawbacks. These panels feature the same texture and depth without the issues of odor or fragility. Additionally, they can be produced in large volumes. With their large format of 3040 x 1210 mm, they are ideal for quick finishing of walls, counters, and even kitchens or cabinets, as easy to work with as regular wood veneer.
